Stamford London Incense Cones

Incense Cones (also known as dhoops) are made from a combustible paste of natural ingredients, pressed into a cone mould then turned out to solidify and dry. Their fragrance becomes more intense throughout the burn time, although always remaining smooth and gentle. Even with a similar blend of ingredients, the scent will differ slightly from stick incense as it isn’t being affected by the presence of a bamboo core. Like our incense sticks, our cones are often referred to as direct-burning, as they don’t require
a separate heat source.

Incense cones are hand-produced by our skilled team in a dedicated facility in Karnataka, southern India, using the same quality ingredients as our incense sticks for a glorious aroma and a burn time of around 30 minutes a cone. There are 7 ranges, plus a selection of variety sets comprising the most popular and bestselling fragrances, and all types are packaged in boxes made of 100% recyclable paper.

Stamford London Backflow Incense Cones

Designed for use with a backflow burner, backflow cones create a fragrant plume that flows magically downwards in dry-ice style for the ultimate in calming distraction. This intriguing effect is created by a narrow shaft through the cone’s base, which is positioned over the burner’s hole to create an inverted chimney. As the smoke is drawn down, it cools and becomes slightly heavier than the surrounding air, so it’s released at the bottom like a cascading waterfall. It typically takes several minutes for the cone’s tip to burn through and start to produce backflow smoke

This range was developed by Stamford London to meet the growing demand for a high quality, Indian incense backflow product in a sector previously dominated by cheaper, inferior Chinese cones.
